Hong Kong Start-Up Survey: Strengths and Weaknesses of the Ecosystem

Despite the rising level of entrepreneurship and start-ups in Hong Kong in recent years, the city seems yet to fulfil its full potential. To better understand the reality, HKTDC Research undertook a survey of the local entrepreneurial scene, followed by interviews with key players in the sector. This research addressed key issues for startups, including funding, market access, regulatory requirements, government support and future growth potential, especially related to the Greater Bay Area.
