Drive growth with digital payment

WHAT: The T-box Workshop on “Using Digital Payment to Grow Your Business Effectively” shows small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) how to adapt to the post-pandemic “new normal”, which has brought about an e-commerce boom. In collaboration with Tencent Cloud, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s (HKTDC) Transformation Sandbox (T-box) is co-organising a workshop on “Using WeChat Pay as a Digital Payment to Grow Business”. A WeChat Pay representative will introduce WeChat Pay and its product development, functionality and solutions available. The webinar will showcase how partners use WeChat Pay to accept mobile payment, expand into the Mainland China market and apply WeChat Pay to grow their business and attain a competitive advantage. The webinar will also introduce the HKTDC x Tencent Cloud “Tencent SME E-marketing Solution” that can help SMEs build their mobile digital platform to reach potential customers and expand their database.

WHY: SMEs must undergo digital transformation to adapt to the new business environment. The T-box programme is dedicated to supporting SMEs and enhancing their competitiveness with a variety of webinar series. Guiding SME managers through the process when she speaks at the webinar will be, Cindy Luk – Associate Director, Tencent International Business Group - Business Development. An experienced digital payment professional, Ms Luk had expansive experience in the media industry before joining Tencent in 2011. With business consultancy as her core skill, she has built and executed a number of key payment solutions since 2015 specifically after her international assignment at Tencent Taiwan Office. Her unique perspectives gained from WeChat Pay and strong background in partner relationship management have helped business partners such as merchants and agencies to optimise, improve and grow the business.
