Small Businesses May Defer Employee Health Insurance Premium Payments

The Chinese government is implementing a policy of allowing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to defer payment of health insurance premiums for employees. Starting from July, MSMEs and self-employed businesses in qualifying areas are allowed to defer employee health insurance premium payments for three months. Late fees will not be charged during this period.
