China Simplifies Tax Matters for Deregistered Market Entities

The State Taxation Administration has simplified the handling of revenues and tax payment of market entities that have deregistered or suspended operations. With effect from 14 July, market entities need not notify the tax authorities when suspending operations due to natural disasters, accidents or public security incidents, but still need to fulfil their tax obligations.
