China Announces Additional Standards for Compulsory Certification of Auto Products

China’s Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA) recently announced that new standards on which the compulsory certification of automotive products is to be based will be included in the annex of the ‘Motor Vehicle Event Data Recorder System’ and seven other documents. Starting from 1 July 2023, certification institutions must handle applications on the basis of these standards.
