China Adjusts Catalogue of Staple Agricultural Products Subject to Import Report Administration

The Ministry of Commerce recently issued an announcement (No. 23 [2020]) detailing the adjustments of its Catalogue of Staple Agricultural Products Subject to Import Report Administration, adding out-of-quota sugar to the catalogue and putting it under import report administration with effect from 1 July 2020. The affected products include:

​​​​​​​Meanwhile, the import report administration for olive oil was abolished on 1 July 2020.

The Ministry of Commerce will release information on the import of staple agricultural products on its official website twice a month.
