Dongguan Tightens Quality Requirements for Export of Epidemic Prevention Supplies

The Dongguan City Bureau of Commerce and Dongguan City Administration for Market Regulation jointly issued a circular on work relating to epidemic prevention supplies on 1 December, putting forward the following requirements on manufacturers and foreign trade enterprises of epidemic prevention supplies in the city:

• Manufacturers of epidemic prevention supplies must implement the system of primary responsibility for product quality and safety, strengthen quality control of own material purchase and control of production processes, and standardise product labelling and manuals.

• Export enterprises of epidemic prevention supplies must ensure the relevant qualifications required of the export of these supplies are met and guarantee their quality strictly in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Commerce, General Administration of Customs and State Administration for Market Regulation, and sign the relevant declarations as required.
