Guangdong Issues Application Guidelines for Export Licences for Restricted Technologies

On 25 December, the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province issued a circular (Yue Shang Wu Fu Han No. 227 [2020]) regarding export licences for technologies subject to export restrictions, as listed in the Catalogue of Technologies Prohibited or Restricted from Export and other catalogues. Enterprises intending to export technologies subject to restrictions must first obtain a preliminary licence before applying for a full licence.

Applicants are required to upload their applications to the unified platform of the Ministry of Commerce (https://ecomp.mofcom.gov.cn/loginCorp.html) under the “technology import and export management information application” heading.
