Guangdong Adopts Draft 14th Five-Year Plan and 2035 Long-Range Objectives

On 26 January, the Guangdong Provincial People’s Congress adopted the 14th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the Outline Plan of the Long-Range Objectives Through the Year 2035 (Draft). The documentfocuses on the new development era, the implementation of new development concepts and the construction of new development patterns. This is to realise the proposals put forward for the formulation of Guangdong’s 14th Five-Year Plan and long-term goals for 2035 by the Guangdong Provincial CPC Committee, and the Plan is set to become the blueprint and action plan for advancing modernisation in the province.
