China Releases New National Standards for Consumer Goods and Manufacturing

The Standardisation Administration of China recently released a number of important national standards for consumer goods. Among these, Sunglasses and Sunglare Filters – Part 1: General Requirements is China’s first compulsory national standard for the health and safety requirements of sunglasses products. Other new national standards released are in the areas of green and sustainable development, industrial manufacturing, health protection, and services. These include: Green Manufacturing – Green Supply Chain Management in Manufacturing Enterprises – Specifications for Assessment; Digital Simulation of Mechanical Products Manufacturing Processes – Part 1: General Requirements; Surveillance Methods for Vector Density: Mosquitoes; and Specification of Service for Technology Business Incubators.
