Qianhai Kicks Off Construction of Shenzhen-Hong Kong Business Logistics Town

On 18 March, the Qianhai Authority of Shenzhen officially kicked off the construction of a Shenzhen-Hong Kong business logistics town in order to promote the integration of the business logistics industry between the two cities. Located at Lot No. 19 of the Mawan Area of the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Co-operation Zone, the proposed town will have a total area of 86,100 sq m. It aims to attract five types of businesses, including Hong Kong-funded enterprises or Hong Kong industry associations and chambers of commerce, enterprises employing no less than 10 Hong Kong residents, enterprises or organisations serving Hong Kong-funded enterprises and Hong Kong residents, individually-owned businesses of Hong Kong residents, and other key business logistics enterprises approved by the Qianhai Authority.
