China Issues 215 National Standards

China recently released 215 national standards, consisting of 212 voluntary standards and three revision notices. These standards cover sectors including agriculture and rural village management, green energy, express delivery services and public security. A key construction guideline aims to promote the application of “internet plus” energy-saving technologies and expand the size of the green technology market.
Some of these standards/revision notices have been in force since 30 April. The rest will take effect on 1 November at the latest. Full details can be found in the National Standards Announcement No. 5 (2021), which was issued by the Standardisation Administration of China on 30 April.
